All About Destinations Travel Insurance purchased through Travel Guard provides coverage for:
Cancellation from the trip due to unforeseen illness, accident, or injury of the traveler, including protection of otherwise non-refundable deposits.
Costs incurred by interruption of the trip due to unforeseen illness, accident, or injury of the traveler, including protection of unused portion of the trip, and otherwise uncovered medical expenses.
Cancellation or interruption of trip due to death, illness, or injury of an immediate family member.
AAD requires all participants to be covered by medical/health insurance for the duration of their tour. Some private medical/health insurance companies will cover members while they are traveling abroad. Medicare and Medicaid do not offer coverage for international travel. It is the responsibility of each traveler to determine whether he/she is covered by medical/health insurance. Travelers without medical insurance coverage must purchase temporary coverage for the duration of the tour.
Generally, trip cancellation/interruption/medical expense coverage is not included in the price of the tour. AAD provides each participant information about trip cancellation/interruption/medical insurance coverage available through Travel Guard with their first financial statement.
AAD PROTECTION PLAN - Not Included (additional cost). The All About Tuscany Protection Plan can only be purchased with your deposit and is nonrefundable. The Plan will cover cancellation charges for any reason and also includes extensive trip insurance for your protection while traveling.
Covers cancellation for any reason up to 24 hours prior to the start of scheduled services. If you are a “no-show” or fail to notify All About Tuscany Tours of your cancellation, you are NOT covered by this plan and will receive no refund.
A $500 fee to change or cancel your air ticket, once tickets are issued, is not covered by this plan. (This fee is subject to change.) This plan does not cover cancellation fees or other fees on air tickets purchased on your own. Additionally, any change fee and/or late booking fee are not covered by this plan.
